ANOTHER Custom…?

I know, I gotta change the name of this pair. I just haven’t thought of anything/gotten around to it yet :p Anyway, these are yet another variation of this pair and well, technically, this pair too. If these two variation pairs aren’t proof that I will literally do whatever it is that you want on the shoes, then I don’t know what is. Enjoy (:

Custom Waves.

This is a spin-off of my other pair with waves, only with custom color requests. Not much else to say about them :P My customers have been spoiling me…the last two or three pairs I’ve done have been on real Vans as opposed to knock offs like I usually do(cheaper), but nothing compares to drawing/painting on Vans. Its so fast and easy, its like painting on paper, not canvas. Forever in love <3

Custom…

These are another version of this pair. They are different because as I mentioned when I made the ‘original pair’, the shoes I did my art work on were given to me, and I had never seen a pair of shoes like that before, and still haven’t found any since. This was my attempt at recreating them on the “vans” style of shoe. I realized that there was no way to recreate some parts of it, so this was the result. Obviously, there is a lot of room for change on these. I can change the colors, the fish, whatever you’d like, just let me know.

Also, please excuse the quality of the pictures, I had forgotten to take pictures of the shoes before giving them to their new owners, and had to take them quickly with an iPad.

Waves.
I made these shoes for an art project. I had to pick two different artists, and do whatever I want with them. Recently, I have had this spontaneous obsession with Brandon Boyd(well, his art) and so decided to choose him as an artist(specifically his work for Hurley), and my second artist is Hokusai. I chose them because I love the way they paint waves, and decided I would love to make my own spin off of their work(which was the assignment; I’m not just copying these guys for the heck of it and claiming it as my own lol)
Aaaanywho; Originally, I was going to make two different pairs of shoes, one with each style of wave, butttt I got very bored in class, only had one pair, and was feeling rather creative, so I decided to make one pair with both types of waves and try to make them similar.

Aaaaaand, here they are!

New Shoes!

NOTE: THESE ARE INCOMPLETE. I still have not added all the colors I am planning to add. This is a work in progress and with update when they are finished.

Seeing as I am extremely exhausted and am currently having trouble finding my camera charger, I will do this the easy/lazy way(cell phone yaaay), and post real pictures up later…and I apologize for any inconvenience (:

Enjoy!! :D And let me know what you think?

All Time Low.
This is my All Time Low inspired pair. This pair was a little bit more expensive(the shoe itself, with the lightning bolt), since I bought them for myself. I can do them on the regular shoes I usually use, and draw the lightning bolt on myself(which I’ve already tried, it still works). Here you can find artwork from So Wrong, Its Right and Nothing Personal. Along with some minor Glamour Kills and JAGK drawings. Everything other than the GK pig and the pink lightning bolt(for which I used fabric paint) is drawn with sharpies. The shoes are sprayed with varnish, meaning they can withstand all types of weather.
Works best on vans style.
Left Shoe Completed on: 2-1-11.
Right Shoe Completed on: 12-29-10.

I can also customize the shoes, like with specific lyrics that you want such as these that I made for my best friend. They won’t come out exactly like mine, but similar. For example, she’s a size 10 and I’m a size 7, so I not only had a different type of sneaker, but also a whole lot of extra space.

The Cab.
I made these specifically for Alex Deleon from the Cab for his birthday. I stupidly forgot to take a picture of the second side of the second pair, and I greatly regret it, since he has them now. One tongue has the lyrics of One of Those Nights and the other, the lyrics of Vegas Skies. Everything on this pair is inspired by the Lady Luck EP(bottom right corner). Everything on them is drawn using sharpies.
Done best on converse.

Flames.
This was my first design, made for the Jonas Brothers’ Burning Up Tour. The top pair is brand new, on the vans shoe, and the bottom pair are my personal converse, which I have worn to about 7 concerts. A little dirty and messy, but still fun. All of the designs are done in sharpie.

Slime.
These are my newest pair. The left side of the shoe is the inverse of the right side. The two pictures above are the same pair, one is the inside and the other the outside. The pattern on the shoe is just a doodle I always draw; a bunch of little shapes. I can switch the color of the slime/background of the shoe(where there is no pattern) to whichever you’d like. The black is done in sharpie and the green is fabric markers.
This design goes best on converse.

Pebbles.
These are my best sellers. I have sold several in both converse and vans style. It might be somewhat difficult to tell, but the colors flow in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, and purple. All done in sharpie.

Skyline.
I can do these on both the Converse type, and vans type. I can also change the color of the sky to whichever you’d like. Both the sky and buildings are done in sharpie, the silver details are dont in paint.
Excuse the bad condition of these…this is my pair and I wear them very often.
(The ones in the picture above are a different pair, painted and sprayed, made for a customer.)
